A Curious Coupling … That Works

Grilled Cheese and Wine Pairing ~ Laura Werlin

“Grilled cheese and wine together? That may seem like an odd pairing, but in fact it can work quite well. Just as with all food and wine pairings, the main ingredients in your grilled cheese sandwiches will act as your guide toward the wine(s) that will work with them. Mild ingredients like goat cheese or mozzarella with greens or herbs? Choose a light white wine. More intensely flavored ingredients like cheddar or roasted peppers? Go red. Not only can grilled cheese and wine pairing be a tasty duo, it’s also endlessly fun.”
