The question: I know all about Chilean red wines, but are there any good whites?
The answer: The buzz on Chile began with cheap red wines – feisty, fruity cabernet sauvignons and carmeneres to drink with cottage pie on a Tuesday night – but increasingly it’s the aromatic whites – riesling, viognier and sauvignon blanc – and even some of the less tropical, more light-filled chardonnays, that impress.
