Racking is one of the most important features of a wine cellar. Here at Rosehill Wine Cellars we have multiple racking options. However, overall there are two different racking designs available. There are more modern metal racking options, and more classic wooden racking options. The design of the cellar dictates the type of racking you should use. Most wine cellars are designed with classic wooden racking. However, metal racking is becoming very popular.
Wood Racking
Our personally designed and manufactured Premier Cru Wooden Wine Rack Kits are truly top of the line. Although, these wine racks come unassembled they are very easy to put together, and look beautiful assembled. They are also available in a variety of different types of wood, including redwood, toasted maple, and African mahogany.
The Premier Cru Wooden Wine Rack Kits are comparable to our custom racking. These racks offer the same quality, depth, and thickness as custom racking does. Therefore, if you are after a custom look, but you want to save some money these racks are a great option for you.
Metal Racking
Metal wine racking has become very popular. This type of racking is great for a more modern and edgy design. At Rosehill Wine Cellars we carry a variety of different styles and types of metal racking. However, Vintage View Metal Wine Racks are probably the most popular.
Vintage View Metal Wine Racks are available in a variety of different finishes. The two most popular finishes are black and platinum. The great thing about this style of racking is that paired with the right wall colour your wine bottles will look like they are floating. If you are designing your cellar with darker coloured walls then the black finish is ideal, but if you are designing your walls in a lighter colour then the platinum racks will create the best result.
