Gnocchi Poutine
“This is Italian-Quebecois fusion at its best,” writes Nadia G, a Montreal comedian whose outrageous online “crazy comedy-cooking show,” Nadia G’s Bitchin’ Kitchen, got picked up by Food Network Canada and Cooking Channel. “Girl Scout Cookies and Wine Pairings From Auberge du Soleil”
HotelChatter reported today that the genius that is Kris Margerum, the wine director at Auberge du Soleil hotel in Napa Valley, Calif., has elevated the country’s Girl Scout cookie addiction to elegant heights. He has suggested wine pairings for some of the most popular types of cookies — Trefoils-Old Fashioned Shortbread, Savannah Smiles, Do-Si-Dos Peanut Butter Cremes, Samoas, and Tagalongs. (We are dying to know what he would pair with Thin Mints, though.)
